Southernmost Charming Wedding Part II
Part II of our wonderful Key West Wedding!
Key West is a small Island a few hours from the Mainland of Florida, so in order to pull of all the wedding details we wanted we had to bring them ourselves. My mom and I spent a year going to antique markets, estate sales and thrift stores to collect all the plates, vintage decor and furniture. I did the calligraphy for the place cards and I did all of our signs. It was a labor of love and we just worked at it a little at a time. I have a craft business so I was able to pull a lot of this off on my own, but I would not recommend doing the DIY unless you know what you are doing. I spent 15 plus hours on the escort and place cards alone. But I wouldn't change a thing:)
I also hired an amazing planer, Kate Bentley, and she was able to take my vision and fully execute it. I dropped the uhaul trailer of all the stuff with her when we got here and she and her team put it all together, flawlessly!
You can see Part I HERE.
And a list of our Vendors HERE.
My mother made these chandeliers. We took old ugly ones, spray painted them and hung crystals.

This Hair comb set was custom made in Madrid, Spain and given as a gift t by a very special family member.
This bracelet was also custom made using vintage jewelry.
Earrings to match my wedding rings.
I had this knife custom engraved for Chris.
Chris had this shirt made for me to wear while I got ready. So sweet:)
My Grandfather had passed away before the wedding so I framed the monogram from his handkerchief and pinned it to the bouquet.
